Harrachov lies at 686 m above sea level. And is one of the most important recreational and sports centers in the western part of the Krkonoše Mountains, situated on the border with Poland (border crossing Harrachov-Jakuszyce).

Harrachov is a well-known center for hiking and winter sports. The whole area of Harrachov is interwoven with countless hiking and cycling routes, tens of kilometers of well-marked and marked ski trails, downhill courses of all levels of difficulty. The dominant feature of the town of Harrachov, which attracts every visitor in every season, is the silhouette of the mammoth jumping bridge on the background of Čertova hora (1022 m above sea level).

 

Harrachov offers a number of hiking trails. Excursions through deep forests along mountain streams, unforgettable views of mountain ridges.

In summer Harrachov visitors have tennis courts, minigolf and golf course, beach volleyball court, and there is also a swimming pool.

You can spend an active and relaxing stay at the Harrachov cable car. Children and adults enjoy themselves in the children's park, at various attractions such as Indian tennis and slackline. Refreshments with relaxation and stunning views are offered by the STONE restaurant, which is available daily at the cable car.

 How to Harrachov?
By car I / 10 from Prague via Mladá Boleslav, Turnov and Tanvald. From Hradec Kralove to Jičín, Horka u St. Paky, Jilemnice and then on I / 14 to Harrachov. From Liberec on road I / 14 to Harrachov. By train to Harrachov, where there is a bus connection to Harrachov in the summer and winter season. By bus there is regular linkage from Prague, Brno and Liberec.
